Mitchell Hope Kinesiologist l Works in Coquitlam
Mitchell holds a Bachelor of Kinesiology with a specialization in neuromechanical and physiological sciences from the University of British Columbia and a Diploma of Kinesiology from Langara College. His academic journey along with his personal sports allowed his interests in sports rehab to flourish during his courses, specifically within prevention of sports injuries, pulmonary physiology of exercise and the foundations of coaching.
Since 2025 Mitchell has worked as a Kinesiologist at Trailside Physiotherapy and has been involved in coaching high school and club boys volleyball and basketball. Outside of his professional role, Mitchell engages in Men’s league basketball and ball hockey, as well as recreational beach and indoor volleyball. He also plays golf several times a week, and has recently gotten into running several times a week as well he hopes to complete a half marathon later in the year.
Mitchell aims to make active rehabilitation enjoyable, accessible and straightforward while hoping to promote a healthy lifestyle outside of the clinic.

Adel is a dedicated physiotherapist with a strong passion for
musculoskeletal health. He has experience working with a wide range of
individuals from elderly to the general population and high level
athletes. He has special interest in lower back pain, shoulder and
neck conditions, ACL rehabilitation, and tendon-related injuries.
His approach is grounded in evidence based practice, with a focus on
helping patients reach their desired goals through an individualized
treatment plan which includes a combination of manual therapy,
customized exercise programs, and education to optimize the recovery
process.
Adel has taken numerous continuing education courses focusing on the
assessment and treatment of the neck, low back and shoulder. To
upskill his knowledge and advance his skills, he has completed courses
in vestibular and vertigo rehabilitation, running injury/analysis,
Orthopaedic Division.
As passionate runner and having ran London Marathon himself in 2024,
he loves treating fellow runners and understands what it takes to
return to peak performance after an injury.
Outside of the clinic, Adel enjoys road cycling, running, beach
volleyball, salsa dancing, padel tennis and pickleball. He is also
actively involved in volunteering and community-building efforts in
Port Coquitlam, working mainly with adolescents and youth to inspire
positive change and give back to the community

Jay first began his career during Trailside’s inception, working for four years as a Kinesiologist after graduating from SFU in 2004 (with a Bachelor’s degree in Kinesiology). He then went on to complete his Masters of Physiotherapy at the University of Sydney (Australia) in 2010. After working and gaining invaluable experience down under, he returned to Trailside in 2016.
Jay has furthered his education by obtaining Level One certification in the Selective Functional Movement Assessment (SFMA), and Levels One and Two in the Functional Movement Screen (FMS). While in Australia he also attended Levels One and Two of the Watson Headache Institute’s Headache course titled “The Role of C1-C3 Cervical Afferents in Primary Headache” (For further information, go to www.WatsonHeadacheInstitute.com)
In the fall of 2016, as Coquitlam was hosting the BC 55+ Games, Jay volunteered to act as Director of Medical Services, helping deliver a very successful 5-day event.

Jacky has worked with a diverse range of client groups – including athletes, individuals living with physical or neurological limitations, as well as those recovering from motor vehicle accidents and/or work-based injuries. He uses a combination of manual therapy, IMS/dry needling and individualized exercise to support each client’s rehab needs and meet their functional goals.

Christina graduated with honours from the University of Findlay with a Bachelor of Science and a Master of Physical Therapy. She is licensed in acupuncture and functional dry needling/IMS and holds certifications in the Mulligan technique and the Selective Functional Movement Assessments (SFMA). Christina is also currently pursuing an education in more advanced orthopaedic and manual physiotherapy, and has recently received certifications in concussion rehab.
Christina played varsity soccer at UF and in her retirement from soccer has taken up weightlifting and cycling. She has spent much of her life around competitive athletes and people who are enthusiastic about living life to the fullest. Tri graduated from the University of British Columbia with a Kinesiology undergraduate degree and a Master’s of Physical Therapy. He has worked as an athletic trainer with numerous collegiate teams, as well as the 2012-2013 shortened NHL season working with Vancouver Canucks players. Tri also values continual education, having completed his Doctorate of Physiotherapy in clinical musculoskeletal management, with a further focus on evidence-based clinical decision-making. His professional drive is to help his clients return to healthy, active lifestyles. In addition Tri has worked as a Canada Games Pool swimming instructor, coached youth sports for the Vancouver School Board, and volunteered as a rehab assistant in a Burnaby nursing home.
